I came to be with my daughter at the hospital for a few days for her thyroidectomy and the three grandchildren. Of course the grandchildren have so many menu requests until I spend a considerable amount of time in the kitchen!
Every day since she can home I intend to blog, but it's hectic here! My daughter was doing well, and I was supposed to go home today. Unfortunately,she has had a setback, and now I will be here a while longer. We are waiting for her surgeon to return her call. She's dozing, and I am

Just realized that you used the word "north" in describing location. I too am originally from "north" LA. Just curious, we are headed that way for holidays. Will be thinking of you & praying for your safety as you return home.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, Jackie! Prayers from me as well as we speak and also at the end of this night and first thing in the morning. I know you're worried, you're a mom and that's what mom's do. It's also the reason sons and daughters feel so loved :)

Jackie, I hope all goes well with your daughter. It is hard on us mamas and grandmas when our kids are not well. When they hurt, we hurt right along with them! I am glad you have those hungry grandkids to keep you busy during this stressful time. I will be praying for both your daughter and you. You are such a sweetheart, a kind heart and gentle spirit!
